Both the firmware in the data logging units and the
Race Studio software are freely available online. There
are also documents available providing guidance on installation,
set up and configuration of the various data collection
sensors.
We keep this page up to date with
the latest release numbers and information. You can
either bookmark this page and check regularly for new
versions, or subscribe to our newsletter where we will
inform you of new versions.

Race Studio 2
The Race Studio software
is made up of two programs, Race Studio 2 which is used
to set up and configure the device, e.g. add new sensors,
set shift lights, etc. and Race Studio 2 Analysis which
is used to view and analysis the downloaded data.
The version number is displayed in
the program title bar like this:

This is an .exe file which you need to save to your
desktop and then double click on to run.

Firmware
AiM have created a small
utility which will check the firmware version number
you are using and manage the updating process.
In order to update the firmware, you
will need to connect the display unit to your computer
using the download
cable.
