Master Cylinders

We have a small range of both remote and integral reservoir front and rear master cylinders designed to complement the ISR calipers suitable for whatever application or look you are going for for any bike or model. As well as levers for use with standard diameter (22mm) handlebars, there are some designed specifically for Harleys, with a 1 inch (25.4mm) handlebar.

We can also supply clutch levers so you have a matched pair of levers and replacement levers.

1. All master cylinders come with adjustable ratio to allow you to customise the feel and power at the lever.

2. A choice of standard and adjustable reach levers are available. All levers are replaceable and interchangeable - only the lever has to be replaced to upgrade from standard to adjustable reach.

3. All master cylinders come in two bore sizes (14mm and 17.5mm) for use with either single and twin calipers

Rear Master Cylinders
We have 3 rear master cylinders produced by ISR - a universal one and one aimed specifically at custom bikes. All rear master cylinders have a bore of 14mm and are designed to work with a single caliper. Mounting brackets would need to be made to fit the rear master cylinders to any bike.

Please note...
ISR have created a number of switch assemblies which can be bolted on to any of the front master cylinders (except the Endurance master cylinder). These can be configured to act as something as simple a kill switch and start button, through to operating an automatic gear change or laptimer.

We also sell the brake fluid remote reservoirs for use with remote reservoir master cylinders, and banjo brake light switches. See the braking accessories page.

And finally...
When changing your master cylinder we recommend that you upgrade to a quality brake line to get the best out of the increased braking performance. It also wouldn't do any harm to replace the brake fluid, because higher performance brakes need higher performance brake fluid to get the best out of the system.
